The wood for “Iris” came from my property in Vermont. When I first found it, it was covered in moss and deadwood. After cleaning and sanding away the weathered exterior, the stunning heartwood emerged — full of warmth, depth, and natural color.
Delicate yet strong, this sculpture embodies movement, light, and organic beauty. I named it “Iris” because its flowing form and radiance remind me of the flower in bloom.
