This striking sculpture is carved from a solid piece of wood (species unknown) and finished with a light stain and matte polyurethane for a soft, natural look. It’s a bold and organic statement piece that suits any home decor—from rustic to modern minimalist.
I discovered this piece of wood on my property in Vermont, and its shape immediately reminded me of a steer’s skull. The natural striations in the grain evoke the look of aged horns, giving the piece a rugged, timeless character.
This is a somewhat large and substantial sculpture, measuring 18” tall, 17.5” wide, and 14.5” deep, and weighing 3 lbs 9 oz.
