After careful cleaning and sanding, the weathered gray surface revealed an extraordinary red-toned heartwood filled with depth and movement.
This sculpture is a celebration of the wood’s natural color, texture, and flow—an intricate display of organic artistry brought to life. My work was simply to uncover the beauty hidden within, and Praying Monk truly embodies that spirit.
